Qwaiet in Material ConneXion

Last autumn we started a collaboration together with IDC West Sweden AB, which is a development company for Skaraborg's manufacturing industry. Through them we heard about Material ConneXion, which operates material libraries located around the world, among other things, they have one in Skövde. Since our material Qwaiet is a specially produced material, we chose  to apply to be included. Our test pieces have now been distributed and can be found in material libraries together with more than 1600 other unique materials in areas such as Milan and Bangkok. Online there is an even larger database consisting of approx. 8000 materials categorized and easily reachable for designers, product developers and architects.

Here you will see a clip from Material ConneXii's library

Ready for delivery

Our color Nature 111 seems very popular right now. In production we have two orders on our way out. One order consists of the Qwaiet Compact, both 60 cm and 90 cm wide. Even most Pad Wall in format 1200x1200x50 mm is waiting to go away and be assembled next week along with Qwiz Curtain and Pad Floor Screens. Hopefully we get more nice pictures from that montage that we can show when it's finished.

Washing is up and running

Finally, all machines are in place and the final details are ready in the laundry.

During the week we started washing here with us in Broddetorp.
After knitting, all material should be washed, tumbled, steamed and hung to dry, to achieve the best results.

B&L Lund AB acquires Acqwool

ACQWOOL's audio absorbers are based on the award-winning qwaiet material. This material is in 100% wool and has amazing sound absorbent properties.

ACQWOOL is now part of an established acoustics company that has been selling and assembling most of the brands in acoustics, suspended ceilings and noise attenuation for 37 years. B&L Lund AB also has its own production, under the absoflex and acoustic sailbrands and now broadens its range of acoustic products with ACQWOOL to cover most types of environments.

"We are very excited about the opportunity to take over ACQWOOL and look forward with great commitment to expanding our business and range of these fantastic products."
